For years the conversation around race, equity, and justice has been at the forefront. With the rise of hate crimes, women’s rights constantly being up for debate and voter suppression becoming the norm, it is important that we continue this conversation in the wine industry.

In response to the need for growth and change, The Diversity in Wine Leadership Forum is now continuously offering the Do The Work workshop with Dr. Akilah Cadet. This workshop is suggested for anyone in the wine industry and especially helpful for people working on DEI initiatives, organizations, and committees within the wine industry.

Over the course of this two hour workshop, you will learn about power and privilege, becoming an accomplice, and the anti-racism journey, and how unlearn and make commitments that can lead to meaningful change. This interactive workshop via Zoom will use breakout groups to enhance discussion and build community with those who want to do the work of becoming accomplices and learn how to integrate anti-racism work into every aspect of their personal and professional lives.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Wednesday, May 22nd @ 9-11 am PST

*Please note, video recordings of the workshops are not distributed in order to protect attendee privacy.
The investment for this workshop is $150 per person. We also offer subsidized tickets - learn more on our registration page.
