About Field Blends

The process of making field blends involves co-fermenting different grape varietals grown together in the same field or vineyard. This often results in unexpected and intriguing blends, yielding a one-of-a-kind wine experience - that’s exactly what you’ll get here

Field Blends is everything a regular wine tour is not. These trips are rooted in community and connection – themes that are woven into every facet of this experience.

We’re blending unique tastings and local provisions with educational experiences and critical discourse. You’ll hear from regional change makers who are shifting the narrative on wine – or at the very least, challenging the dominant narrative.

With Field Blends, opening up a bottle means opening up conversations about what’s emerging in wine and agriculture, what’s evolving, and what’s always been here but rarely ever gets air time. We’re here to dig deep and explore beyond the bottle – connecting you with the community, land, and people who are behind the labels, working the soil, and shaping change.

Field Blends is expertly curated with much thought and intention, with room for moments to surprise and delight. Rest assured – you’re in for an absolute treat.

Past Trip: Lodi, California - June 2025
Nestled in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Lodi is an agricultural gem located between the bustling cities of Sacramento to the north and Stockton to the south. While neighboring wine regions may be more often explored, there is a laid-back charm in Lodi that we can’t get enough of. While Lodi is celebrated for its exceptional wine, particularly its old-vine Zinfandel, the region’s agricultural bounty extends far beyond. The fertile soil and Mediterranean climate create the perfect conditions for growing peaches, apricots, nectarines, watermelons, corn, walnuts, and over 120 grape varieties.

Past Trip: Traverse City, Michigan - June 2024
